Little Passports
Monthly activity-kit subscriptions that teach geography, world cultures and science for ages 3 and up. World Adventures sends kids to a new country each month with a suitcase, map, passport and activities. Plans run $25–$32 a month.
What is Little Passports?
Little Passports is a children's subscription brand that mails monthly activity kits about geography, world cultures and science. It has been around since 2009 and is now part of Begin, a kids' learning company. Its best-known line, World Adventures, follows explorers Sam and Sofia to a new country each month.
How it works
You pick a line by age and choose a monthly, 6-month or 12-month plan. The first box is a starter kit. After that, a new kit arrives each month. Kids open it, read the letter, do the activities and track their travels on a big world map.
Most families spread a kit over a few short sessions. Younger kids need a parent to read and help, while older kids can do most activities alone.
What it covers
| Line | Ages | What's inside |
|---|---|---|
| Early Explorers | 3–5 | Suitcase, map and puzzle to start; monthly themes like oceans and food around the world |
| Animals Wild | Preschool to early elementary | Animal habitats with pop-up playsets and 3-D animals |
| Science Junior | 5–8 | Science topics like volcanoes and optical illusions |
| World Adventures | 6–10 | Suitcase, map, passport; a new country each month with a coin and project |
| Kitchen Adventures | 7+ | Recipes from America's Test Kitchen Kids and a kitchen tool |
| Science Expeditions | 8+ | Chemistry and physics experiments |
World Adventures covers 12 countries in a year, starting with Brazil. Early Explorers kids move up to World Adventures after 24 months.
