Education for a Brighter Future Endowed Fund
Education for a Brighter Future is an endowed scholarship fund run by the Archdiocese of Detroit since 2001 in partnership with the Children's Scholarship Fund. It pays up to $3,500 a year toward tuition for students in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Monroe counties, covering 75%, 50% or 25% of tuition depending on household size and income. Eligible schools include Catholic, Lutheran, Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Montessori and independent schools. Awards are chosen by random drawing among eligible applicants, and students can stay through 8th grade.
