Its parent page lists a standard 2026–27 award of $6,900 to spend on eligible expenses and a planned $2,500 per student for Family Paced Education (homeschool) students, with awards made first-come, first-served and purchases made through the Odyssey platform.

For families
Start with Herzog's qualification check; staff then walk eligible families through the state application. There is no waitlist, so families who are not funded must reapply. Herzog invites families to sign up for notice when 2027–28 applications open.
For donors
Missouri donors receive a state tax credit worth 100% of the gift, capped at 50% of state tax liability, after reserving credits with the State Treasurer.
