Scholarships for Kids
Scholarships for Kids, Inc. is a Birmingham-based nonprofit and state-approved scholarship granting organization (SGO) under the Alabama Accountability Act of 2013. It partners with qualified nonpublic schools to give tuition scholarships to Alabama children who demonstrate financial need. It appears on the Alabama Department of Revenue's list of approved SGOs as of November 15, 2025.

Parents apply through the Parents page on the SGO's website. Phone 205-421-3343.
For donors
Individuals and businesses redirect part of their Alabama income tax liability to the SGO and reserve a dollar-for-dollar credit through the My Alabama Taxes portal.
