A summary of public parent feedback we read on forums, app stores and review sites. It is not a set of Edulist family reviews.

Reviewers and forum parents consistently praise the Latin, the classic literature and how subjects connect. The most common cautions are the volume of work, heavy parent time in the early grades, plain materials, and a writing program some families replace.

Full classic books, not excerpts
Well organized and easy to teach from the manuals

Common complaints

Too much content; veterans advise cutting some
Demanding for parents of several young children

Questions

Is Memoria Press Christian?

Yes. Memoria Press calls its Classical Core a complete classical Christian curriculum. Students study Biblical and church history alongside Latin, Athens and Rome as groundwork for later history.

Is Memoria Press accredited?

The curriculum is not a school. Memoria Press Online Academy is a separate live online school for grades 3–12 with a diploma program; check its accreditation page for current status before enrolling.

Is Memoria Press good for children with special needs?

Memoria Press publishes a separate special-needs curriculum line, described on its special needs page. Families of children who need a slower, more supported pace should start there rather than with the standard Classical Core.
