This weekly lesson plan template lays a full school week on one landscape page: eight subject rows from morning meeting to specials, and Monday-to-Friday columns with ruled lines and a checkbox in each cell. Write the lesson, pages or standard for each block, and check it off when it's taught.

It works for classroom teachers, tutors and homeschool parents. Rename the rows (up to 12), drop to a four-day week, or add Saturday. For a single lesson in depth, pair it with the detailed lesson plan template.

Tips for using it

  • Write the objective code or a few words, not a script. The weekly grid is a map; detailed plans live on lesson pages.
  • Shade or star lessons that need materials prepared ahead.

Questions

What goes in a weekly lesson plan?

The subjects or periods for each day and a short note of what each lesson covers: the topic, pages or standard, and anything to prepare. Notes for the week go in the strip at the bottom.

Can I change the subjects?

Yes. Type one subject per line. Long names wrap or shrink to fit.
