Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool

Free

A complete, free online Christian homeschool curriculum from preschool through 8th grade, with a companion high school site. Students click through daily lessons on the website, and optional printed workbooks are sold at low cost.

What is Easy Peasy homeschool?

Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool is a free online Christian curriculum created by Lee Giles and maintained with help from her family. The website lays out a daily lesson for every subject, from preschool through 8th-grade level work, and a sister site covers high school.

There is no subscription and no trial. The site is supported by donations and a small store.

How it works

You make two choices. First, pick a level for each child in math, reading and language arts, either as a set grade or mixed by subject using the placement guides. Second, pick a yearly family theme, which pairs a history period with a science:

  • Ancient history with biology
  • Early American history with zoology
  • Geography and cultures with earth science
  • Modern history with physics and chemistry

Students open their assignments through MyEPAssignments.com and click through each day's lessons. Some days use videos, games and online readings. Others use printable worksheets, marked with an asterisk. Answer keys are available to parents.

Who it's best for

Easy Peasy is a good fit for Christian families who need a free homeschool curriculum, for kids in upper elementary who can follow online steps, and for families testing homeschooling before buying anything.

Look elsewhere if you want little screen time, a secular program, or accredited records. Some parents find the lessons too short, and young first graders can struggle because the program expects a lot of independence.

Pricing at a glance

Free. Your real costs are printing, basic supplies and a device. If printing gets old, Easy Peasy sells printed workbooks and offline books at low prices.

Can a scholarship or ESA pay for it?

You do not need funding for the curriculum, but programs such as Arizona ESA may cover printed workbooks, books, supplies or a computer, depending on their rules. Each program decides. Save Easy Peasy to your wishlist along with any paid add-ons, and check scholarships for your state to apply once through Edulist.

How it compares

If you want something free but more print-based, look at The Good and the Beautiful, whose Language Arts K–8 is a free PDF. AmblesideOnline is a free Charlotte Mason plan. Yes. It describes itself as a complete, free online Christian homeschool curriculum, and it includes Bible courses such as Old and New Testament, Scripture memory and Biblical Hebrew. There is no secular version.

Who created Easy Peasy?

Easy Peasy was created by Lee Giles, whose name is on the site, and it is maintained by her with help from her family. It is not run by a company or school, which keeps it free but also explains its plain design.

Does Easy Peasy cover high school?

Yes, on a separate site called All-in-One High School at allinonehighschool.com. The main Easy Peasy site runs from preschool through 8th-grade level work.
