These letter tracing worksheets teach one letter in depth, the way a letter-of-the-week plan does. Each letter starts on a new page with large models of the capital and lowercase forms, numbered strokes and direction arrows. Then come tracing rows, two short words that start with the letter, and a simple sentence, so your child forms the letter, hears its sound in words, and writes it in context.
This preset prints A to E. Type any letters in the Letters box (M, or S-T) to make your own set, or open a ready-made page for one letter: A, B, S and every other letter are linked below.
Tips for using it
- Spread one letter over two or three days: the model and letter rows on day one, the words and sentence later.
- Pair the sheet with a letter hunt: find five things in the house that start with the letter.

What is a letter of the week plan?
A preschool routine that focuses on one letter for a week: its shape, its sound, and words that start with it. These worksheets cover the writing part; read a book and go on a letter hunt to round out the week.
Are these letter worksheets good for kindergarten?
Yes. Kindergarteners can use the large lines as they are, or switch Line size to Medium once their letters fit comfortably.
