Acellus Academy plans and prices
Acellus Academy charges per student, not per course. Basic tuition is $249 a month, reduced to $79 a month for families who select the Roger Billings Scholarship at enrollment. Enhanced ($299 a month) adds a locked-down student device and career academic advising; Premium ($499 a month) adds priority parent and student support. Grade level and the number of courses (1 to 6) do not change the price. Prices as of October 2026.

- How to cancel
- Pause or cancel any time in the parent account, the Acellus App, by phone or by email. Cancel before the next payment processes to avoid that charge.
- Refunds
- Payments processed before cancellation are non-refundable.
- Extra costs
- A $100 graduation application fee is due at graduation. Families supply a device (unless on Enhanced or Premium), internet and basic supplies.

Acellus Academy is one of the cheapest ways to get an accredited online school and a real diploma, especially at the $79 scholarship rate. The video lessons are short and grading is automatic, so parents do little teaching. The catch is the teaching style: many families find the videos dry and rigid, and there is little live teacher contact. It works best for steady, independent students who want credits and a diploma more than a rich classroom.

Acellus says Arizona ESA families can have full tuition paid. Other states' programs may also allow accredited online school tuition, but each program sets its own rules.
