LIFEPAC
Christian, mastery-based print curriculum from Alpha Omega Publications for kindergarten through 12th grade. Each subject comes as 10 consumable worktexts plus a teacher's guide, covering Bible, language arts, math, science and history and geography.
What is LIFEPAC?
LIFEPAC is a Christian homeschool curriculum from Alpha Omega Publications, usually called AOP. It covers kindergarten through 12th grade in five core subjects: Bible, language arts, math, science, and history and geography. Instead of a textbook plus workbook, each subject comes as 10 colorful worktexts that hold the lessons, practice and tests in one place.
The approach is mastery learning. A student works through one worktext, shows mastery on its tests, and then moves to the next. Christian teaching runs through every subject, not just Bible.
How it works
Each LIFEPAC worktext is divided into sections. Students read short lessons, answer questions, and take a self-test at the end of each section. A final test closes the worktext, and every worktext includes a spare test. Answer keys and extra activities live in the teacher's guide.
Ten worktexts per subject per year works out to roughly one per subject each month. Because each subject is its own box, you can place a child at different levels, such as 5th grade math and 6th grade language arts.
AOP says parents should stay involved. In practice, younger children need a parent nearby, while many middle and high schoolers work largely on their own and check in for grading and tests.
What it covers
| Stage | What's included |
|---|---|
| Kindergarten | Language arts and math student books and teacher's guides |
| Grades 1–6 | Bible, language arts, math, science, history and geography |
| Grades 7–8 | The same five subjects with more independent work |
| Grades 9–12 | English I–IV, Algebra I through Pre-Calculus, Civics and World Geography, sciences through Physics, Government and Economics, Bible courses, electives |
Language arts covers reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, grammar and composition. History and geography begins with early America and world cultures and later covers government and economics. Science moves from habitats and the solar system to biology, chemistry and physics.
Who it's best for
LIFEPAC fits Christian families who want everything covered in one consistent format, with very little planning. It works well for large families with wide age gaps and for students who like clear, step-by-step tasks.
It is a weaker fit for kids who need discussion, projects or living books, and for secular families. If you want the same content online with automatic grading, look at Monarch.
Pricing at a glance
As of October 2026, the Kindergarten Complete Grade Set is $156, the 1st Grade set is $552, and five-subject sets for grades like 5, 9 and 12 are $468. Single-subject box sets are $108. Print products can be returned within 30 days with a return authorization, but sets must come back complete.
Can a scholarship or ESA pay for it?
AOP says it is an approved vendor in many state programs and sells through ClassWallet, MyScholarShop, Student First Technologies and Odyssey. Its funding page lists programs such as Arizona ESA, Florida's scholarships, Utah Fits All and North Carolina's Opportunity Scholarship. Each program decides what it covers, and Bible courses may be treated differently. Start with our ESA and scholarship guide.

How it compares
- Abeka and BJU Press are textbook-based Christian programs with more teacher-led instruction.
- Christian Light uses a similar worktext format from a Mennonite publisher.
