Preply Kids plans and prices

Each tutor sets a per-lesson price. As of October 2026, the price filter on Preply's tutors-for-kids page spans $3 to $40+ per lesson, and many experienced tutors on that page list about $30–$70 for a 50-minute lesson. You first pay for a trial lesson, then subscribe to a weekly plan with your chosen tutor. Subscriptions charge for 28 days of lessons at checkout and renew automatically every 28 days. Checkout adds a processing fee and any applicable taxes.

Preply Kids free trial, discounts and cancellation

Free trial: The trial lesson is paid. If a completed trial doesn't meet expectations, you can request a free replacement trial with a different tutor, up to 2 per account.
Free version: None for tutoring. Preply offers free language level tests.
Discounts: Free trial replacement: Up to 2 free replacement trial lessons with different tutors if the first trial isn't a fit.
Referral program: Preply runs a student referral program with rewards for referring new learners.
Student discount: Preply lists a student discount page on its site; check eligibility there.
How to cancel: Cancel the subscription from your Preply account before the next 28-day renewal. Canceling stops future charges but does not automatically refund the current cycle.
Refunds: Preply may refund a charge if you cancel and no lessons from that billing cycle were used, requested within 28 days of the charge. Requests go through support chat and are reviewed individually. Funds or lesson hours unused for more than 180 days are forfeited under Preply's rules.
Extra costs: Processing fee and taxes at checkout; extra lessons beyond your plan cost extra.
