Wyzant scores 1.6 out of 5 on Trustpilot from about 1,500 reviews as of October 2026, with few recent reviews. Many complaints come from tutors about rejected applications and commissions. Questions
Are Wyzant reviews trustworthy?
Reviews on tutor profiles come from students who booked lessons, which makes them useful for comparing tutors. Wyzant's company rating on Trustpilot is low, driven largely by tutor complaints and support issues. Read both kinds before you choose.
Can homeschoolers use Wyzant?
Yes. Homeschool families use Wyzant for subjects they prefer not to teach, such as upper-level math, chemistry, languages or music. Look for tutors who list homeschool experience on their profiles.
