This curriculum planner puts your whole year's plan on one landscape page. For each subject, write the curriculum or resources you'll use, the level, your goals for the year and the cost. The last column has a box to check for anything a scholarship or education savings account (ESA) might pay for, and the footer totals the cost.

Fill it in before you buy. Seeing every subject together helps you spot gaps, avoid doubling up and keep spending in check. If your state has an ESA or a tax-credit scholarship, each program decides what it covers, so check its rules before you count on funding.

Tips for using it

  • Write one or two goals per subject that you can actually check in June, like 'multiplies two-digit numbers' rather than 'gets better at math'.
  • Note used-curriculum prices and library options next to the new price; it's an easy place to save.

Questions

Can a scholarship pay for homeschool curriculum?

In some states, yes. ESA and scholarship programs in several states can cover curriculum for eligible students, but each program sets its own rules. See the scholarships page for your state.

How do I plan a homeschool year?

Start with goals for each subject, choose curriculum that reaches them, then map lessons onto a calendar. This sheet covers the first two steps.
