An outline map of Europe with every border and no names, plus a second page answer key with all 45 countries labeled. Neighboring land in Asia and Africa is shaded gray, so the edges of Europe are easy to see.

Practice first with the interactive Europe map quiz, which has a magnifier for the microstates, then use this sheet as the paper test. The labeled map of Europe is the matching study sheet.

Tips for using it

  • Fill in the big countries first (Russia, Ukraine, France, Spain), then work inward.
  • Use two-letter codes for the tiny countries if there's no room to write.

Questions

Does it include the small countries like Monaco and Vatican City?

Yes. They are drawn at their real size, which is very small, and named on the answer key with leader lines.

What grade studies the countries of Europe?

Many students study European geography in 6th or 7th grade world geography, and homeschool history programs often add it alongside ancient and medieval history.
