This sticker chart has 20 numbered circles, each big enough for a standard round sticker, ending in a prize star. Every time your child earns a sticker, it goes in the next circle; when the chart is full, they earn the prize written at the bottom. Numbers on each circle show how far they've come and how many are left.

Use one sticker chart for one goal, like potty training, staying in bed at night or practicing piano. Change the number of spaces to fit your child's age: 5 to 10 for preschoolers who need a quick win, 20 to 30 for a longer goal, up to 50 for a big one.

Tips for using it

  • Let your child stick the sticker on themselves. It's part of the reward.
  • Write the prize in the reward box so it's agreed on before you start.

Questions

How many spaces should a sticker chart have?

Fewer for younger kids. Preschoolers often do best with 5 to 10, so the reward comes within a few days. School-age kids can work toward 20 or more.

What size stickers fit?

On the 20-space chart, the circles fit round stickers up to about an inch across.
