This blank homeschool transcript template has everything a college or employer looks for on one page: student details, a course table for each year from 9th to 12th grade with type, grade and credit columns, yearly credit and GPA lines, a cumulative summary, a grading scale key, a place for SAT or ACT scores and a signed certification.
Print it and fill it in by hand, or choose "Fill it in here" to type the courses and let the generator do the GPA math. Pick the grading scale your family uses before printing so the key matches the grades you write in. Set the number of lines per year if your teen takes more or fewer courses.
Tips for using it
- Fill in the transcript once a year rather than all at once in 12th grade. It's much easier to remember course details while they're fresh.
- Keep course descriptions and a reading list in a separate file. Many colleges ask for them alongside the transcript.
- Sign as the administrator of your homeschool and add the date you sign.

Is a homemade transcript official?
Yes, for most purposes. In most states the parent runs the homeschool, so a parent-issued transcript is the school's official record. Colleges review it with test scores, course descriptions and any outside grades.
What grading scale should I use?
Most transcripts use a 4.0 scale with 90–100 as an A. The template prints the key for whichever scale you choose: A–F, A–F with plus and minus, or a 7-point scale.
