These printable sight word flash cards cover all 220 Dolch service words, twelve to a page, in level order from pre-primer through third grade. Each card has the word in large, clear Andika letters (the font designed for beginning readers, with a single-story a and g) and a small label with the list name and number, so a dropped card goes back in the right pile.
Cut on the dashed lines and practice a few minutes a day: show a card, give about three seconds, and sort into "got it" and "not yet" piles. Keep only five to ten "not yet" cards in play at a time. For bigger cards, choose 4, 6 or 8 per page; to print one level, change Word list.
Tips for using it
- Print on cardstock so the cards last.
- Play memory: print two copies of the same set and match pairs face down.
- Hide cards around the room and have your child read each one they find.
