Isometric graph paper has lines in three directions, vertical plus two diagonals at 30 degrees, forming a grid of equilateral triangles. It makes it easy to draw 3D objects like cubes and stacks of blocks, because the three directions match the three edges you see at a cube's corner.
Kids use it in geometry to draw rectangular prisms and figure out volume by counting cubes, to sketch views of buildings made from blocks, and for art and design. The lines are light gray. Change Square size to make the triangles bigger or smaller.
Drawing three-dimensional shapes on flat paper, including cubes, prisms and block structures, plus tessellation patterns.
The diagonal lines are 30 degrees from horizontal, so they meet the vertical lines at 60 degrees and form equilateral triangles.
