A complete kindergarten worksheet pack covering every subject in about nine pages: a two-page math review (ten frames, adding and subtracting within 10, counting on, comparing numbers), count-and-write, tracing Dolch pre-primer sight words, CVC sound boxes for phonics, a short story with three-choice questions, letter tracing, and a writing prompt page with a drawing box. Answer keys print at the end.

Use it as a weekly packet, one or two pages a day, or as a quick check of where your child is. Press New problems for a fresh pack with the same skills, or turn subjects off to print only math, reading or writing. When a page is hard, practice that skill on its own: kindergarten math, kindergarten phonics, CVC words, kindergarten sight words, kindergarten handwriting, kindergarten reading comprehension, kindergarten writing prompts and the kindergarten word search.

Tips for using it

  • Read directions aloud. A kindergarten worksheet shouldn't be a reading test.
  • Spread the pack over a week instead of doing it in one sitting.
  • Let your child check the counting pages with real objects like blocks or pennies.

Questions

What should a kindergartner learn?

In math, counting to 100, comparing numbers and adding and subtracting within 10. In reading, letter sounds, rhyming, blending simple words and common sight words. In writing, forming letters and using drawing and writing to share ideas. Our guide to what a kindergartener should know covers it in more detail.

How many worksheets should a kindergartner do a day?

One or two short pages is plenty, about 10 to 15 minutes. Young children learn most through play, read-alouds and conversation, so worksheets are best as quick practice.

Can I print just the math or just the reading pages?

Yes. Switch off any subject under Include, and the pack rebuilds with only the pages you want. Each page also links to a generator for that skill.
