This blank hundreds chart is an empty 10 × 10 grid. Filling it in from 1 to 100 is a great counting and number-writing workout for kindergarten and 1st grade, and kids start noticing the patterns as they go: each row ends in a ten, and every number in a column ends in the same digit.

Don't expect it done in one sitting. Have your child fill one or two rows a day, saying each number aloud. Older kids can fill in only one skip-counting pattern, like every multiple of 4. The answer key is a filled 1–100 chart for checking.

Tips for using it

  • Fill in one row a day and say each number out loud.
  • Ask your child to fill just the 10s column first. It gives them landmarks for the rest.
