Thirty multiplication facts from 0 × 0 to 12 × 12, stacked and in mixed order, with an answer key on page two. No fact repeats until every one has been used, so a few sheets cover the whole times table.

New to multiplication? Practice one table at a time first, like the 2s, 5s and 10s, then the rest. Already know the facts? Step up to 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication and on to multi-digit multiplication. Every sheet is free, needs no sign-up and prints from the PDF exactly as you see it.

Tips for using it

  • Teach the turnaround rule: 3 × 8 is the same as 8 × 3, which halves the facts to learn.
  • Learn the easy tables first (0, 1, 2, 5, 10), then 3, 4, 9, and save 6, 7, 8 for last.

Questions

What age should kids learn multiplication?

Multiplication starts in 2nd grade with equal groups and arrays. By the end of 3rd grade (about age 8 to 9), the Common Core standards expect children to know all products of two one-digit numbers from memory.

How can I make multiplication worksheets harder?

Set First number to 2-digit, 3-digit or 4-digit and Second number to 1-digit or 2-digit. Choose fewer columns for room to work.

Are these multiplication worksheets free to print?

Yes, free with no account. Print directly or download a PDF, with or without the answer key.
