Thirty mixed multiplication facts with both factors from 0 to 10: exactly the "multiply within 100" goal in the Common Core standards for 3rd grade. By the end of the year, 3rd graders should know all products of two one-digit numbers from memory.
Most 3rd graders learn the facts in a sequence: 2s, 5s and 10s, then 3s, 4s and 9s, then 6s, 7s and 8s. Use this mixed sheet as a weekly check, and the single-table sheets (like the 7 times table) for practice in between. For a full-grade check, try the 3rd grade math review.
The meaning of multiplication (equal groups, arrays), the properties that make it easier, and fluency with all facts within 100. Multiplying by multiples of 10, like 4 × 60, is also 3rd grade.
Short daily practice beats long sessions. Five minutes a day on one table, plus a mixed sheet once a week, works for most kids.
